Refoaming an Etna mk1. Is it hard

Message par drota »

Hello
I am in the progress of buying a cabasse Etna sub (1st version).

The thing I am worried about is that a little firm in south of Sweden have changed the foam surroundings on them. Is it hard to change it on them? Is the foam special on them?

When I asked Hificenter in Malmoe, a local shop Sweden who have sold/distributed cabasse for a long time they said it is quite a task to refoam them, and said they would have sent it to cabsse fabric and get it reofamed. It is a very precise task.

Hope everything is fine
Greetings from Sweden

Hello,

I know nothing about refoaming of Cabasse speakers, but there is a dude who is currently selling 2 21NDC drivers from an Etna 1 : http://www.leboncoin.fr/image_son/579202100.htm?ca=22_s

You could grab them for spares.
